This coding option really gives the iDrive the look of a later vehicle.
If your vehicle has ID5, looks like the upper image.
We can recode this car to make it look like the lower image, ID6.
This coding option isn’t possible for the earlier ID4 units (usually pre September 2016).
This is purely a coding option, there are no modifications made to the firmware.
As a side note, the screen saver function is disabled in this upgrade (as this was purely a ID5 function).
