Ordering a replacement key from a dealer is a troublesome, overly complicated process with average 3/4 day wait time.
At Grosvenor Motor Company we can supply and program a replacement remote control to your vehicle. This allows your to start the car and use the remote control to lock and unlock.
There are three parts to this process to which we complete all of them.
- Program the replacement keys wireless transponder to the EWS control unit.
- Cut the replacement key blade.
- Code the remote control to lock and unlock the doors via the remote.
If your key looks like one of the above then we can supply replacements.
The cost of our standard replacement remote control with a cut blade is as follows:
- First key – £130.00 + VAT programmed to your vehicle.
- Additional replacement remote keys (if programmed at the same time) as charged at £60 + VAT each.
- Additional non remote replacement keys (pictured above – if programmed at the same time) as charged at £30 + VAT each.
This is a direct replacement for BMW part number: 66126955747 with the HU92 blade. We can also supply and program the older HU52 style keys in the same manner.
We do require the whole vehicle for the day to provide a replacement key remote.
